Hardware Projects
Hardware Sampler and Looper
A device designed and built by me: A hardware sampler and looper controlled using buttons, potentiometers, and a rotary encoder. Audio is recorded into RAM or to an SD card, played back, looped, and processed with effects. An OLED display provides status and menu feedback.
Visually Triggered Drum Sequencer
A four button keyboard and step sequencer with a thermal camera gimmick. It is all powered by a Teensy 4.1 microcontroller. The drum sequencer has 3 different channels: kick, snare, and hi-hat. Some yellow LEDs show which beat you are currently on, 1-4, and another set of green LEDs tell you which instrument you are on. The thermal camera is interactive, displaying heat signatures onto a color-coded 8x8 heatmap showing you how hot or cold the visual is.
Analog Synthesizer
An eight button analog button-controlled keyboard synthesizer made purely with an Operational Amplifier and Voltage.
